My AFNS Initial Test Experience

Today I appeared in the AFNS initial test at ASRC Multan. Overall the paper was quite manageable, especially for students who prepared from the most repeated questions and proper preparation notes.

The Intelligence (Verbal) portion was almost completely from the concepts covered in the preparation material. Several questions were related to common intelligence patterns such as:

• Days and age problems
• Mirror and water images
• Alphabetical series
• Logical sequence questions

Anyone who practiced these topics properly could solve them quickly during the test.

Academic Portion – Important Questions (Repeated)

Some of the academic questions that appeared in the test are listed below:

1. The release of which fish into ponds and wells helps control mosquitoes?
Answer: Gambusia Fish

2. The deficiency of which element leads to dental caries?
Answer: Fluorine

3. In which component does antibody formation take place?
Answer: Blood Plasma

4. Which cell organelle is responsible for cellular respiration?
Answer: Mitochondrion

5. Which part of the pitcher plant becomes modified into a pitcher?
Answer: Leaf

6. The nature of bond present in diamond is:
Answer: Covalent Bond

7. Lattice energy is also called:
Answer: Lattice Enthalpy

8. Inhaling nitrogen oxide can cause:
Answer: Laughter

9. The main source of organic compounds is:
Answer: Coal

English & Physics Portion

English Section
Most of the questions were related to:

• Synonyms
• Antonyms
• Basic vocabulary

Physics Section
Physics questions mainly focused on:

• Formula based questions
• Units and basic concepts

Students who prepared basic formulas were able to solve the section easily.

Preparation Experience

I personally prepared through complete preparation material and practice questions, which helped me understand the repeated patterns of the test.

Many candidates who had prepared only limited material struggled in the academic portion, but those who had covered the most repeated MCQs and concepts managed the test comfortably.
