LCC-21 Initial Test Experience – Public Relation Officers – IR – Mass Communication

I appeared in the LCC-21 Initials for the Public Relation Officers (PRO) branch at RWP centre under ISPR / Mass Communication, and Alhamdulillah I cleared. Overall, the paper was manageable, especially for candidates who prepared from the group files and revised the core concepts properly.

Verbal Section

The verbal portion was easy, and around 70% of the group shared questions from the 7-page file. However, the most important thing in verbal was time management. Because I spent extra time on a few questions, 7 unattempted questions remained in the verbal section. My suggestion for future candidates is to practice verbal questions with a timer and avoid getting stuck on one question. If a question takes too long, skip it and come back later.

Non-Verbal Section

Non-verbal was also easy. Most of the patterns and figure-based questions were very similar to the non-verbal file that was shared in the group. With basic practice and focus, it can be a scoring portion.

Academic Section

The academic portion was comparatively more challenging for me. It largely focused on theory and research, and many questions related to research methodology arose as well. Since my background is MS-related, the academic section required deeper understanding, so I found it a bit difficult compared to verbal and non-verbal. Candidates should revise major concepts, theories, and basic research methodology terms before the test.
