AFNS test at ASRC Rawalpindi

“IT ALWAYS SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE UNTIL IT IS DONE”

Assalamualaikum,

I appeared in my AFNS test at ASRC Rawalpindi yesterday, and Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah Almighty, the prayers of my loved ones, my own self-belief, and the guidance and preparation provided by Sir Faizan and EduSmart, I successfully cleared my test.

Kal mera test ASRC Rawalpindi mein tha. Main poora rasta apne notes revise karti rahi, lekin test hall mein enter hone ke baad maine revision stop kar di. Mera suggestion hai ke test se around 20 minutes pehle books aur notes close kar dein, relax karein aur Durood Sharif recite karein.

Entry and Document Checking

Jab main Army Selection & Recruitment Centre mein enter hui to humein waiting area mein wait karne ko kaha gaya. Wahan ek officer hamare documents check kar rahe thay.

Important original documents included:

• Matric marksheet
• FSc marksheet
• Hope Certificate, if applicable
• Domicile
• Fee challan
• CNIC/B-Form as required
• Roll number slip

Documents original aur complete hone chahiye. Hamare group mein 3 candidates ko incomplete documents ki wajah se wapas bhej diya gaya.

Around 10 minutes ke baad humein computer lab mein enter karwaya gaya.

Waiting area mein mobile phones allowed nahi thay. Bag bhi computer lab ke andar le jane ki permission nahi thi. Bag bahar cupboard mein rakhna hota hai, is liye behtar hai ke valuable belongings pehle hi apni family ke paas rakh dein.

Computer Lab Environment

Computer hall mein sitting arrangement classroom ki tarah tha. Chairs mostly two-two ke pairs mein arranged thin. Aapke saath candidate close ho sakti hai, lekin har candidate ka test different ho sakta hai.

Humein apni marzi se PC choose karne ki permission thi.

PC select karte waqt do cheezen zaroor check karein:

• Screen clear aur properly bright ho.
• Mouse properly working ho aur stuck na karta ho.

Ek baar test start ho jaye to usually aapko usi computer par test complete karna hota hai.

Seats par settle hone ke baad Army officer ne complete instructions dein. Staff cooperative tha aur overall environment disciplined but comfortable tha.

Ek important instruction yeh thi:

Agar kisi reason se PC off ho jaye, dobara system on hone ke baad test wahin se continue hota hai jahan aapka test stop hua tha.

Agar kisi cheez ki samajh na aaye to officer se pooch sakte hain.

Humein sab se pehle apna Roll Number aur ID details enter karke login karna tha. Kuch candidates ko mouse use karne mein difficulty ho rahi thi, aur staff ne unko properly guide kiya.

Test Start Karne Se Pehle

Test start karne se pehle:

• Bilkul relaxed ho jayen.
• Agar mask ya koi cheez disturb kar rahi ho to side par rakh dein, agar allowed ho.
• Water bottle saath le kar jayen.
• Posture straight rakhein.
• Mouse ki position comfortable set kar lein.
• Roll number slip aur CNIC computer lab mein saath rakhein.

EduSmart aur Sir Faizan ki preparation mein time management aur test strategy par jo focus karwaya gaya tha, woh actual test mein bohat useful raha.

Important Test Feature

Mujhe test system ki do features bohat useful lagin.

Ek section finish karne ke baad next section automatically start nahi hota tha. Candidate thora relax kar sakti thi, water drink kar sakti thi, aur phir khud next test start karti thi.

Har section se pehle sequence approximately is tarah tha:

Start → Final Start → 5 Sample Questions → Real Test Start → Final Start → Actual Test

Mujh se ek mistake hui. Maine sample questions ko sirf practice samajh kar jaldi-jaldi solve kiya. Kuch sample questions actual test mein similar ya repeat aaye aur phir real test mein unke liye sochne ka time kam tha.

Is liye sample questions ko bhi seriously solve karein.

Verbal Intelligence Test

Sab se pehle Verbal Intelligence portion start hua.

Do cheezen bohat important hain:

• Agar kisi question ka answer immediately samajh na aaye to usko skip kar dein aur time waste na karein.
• Time management bohat important hai.

Maximum questions Sir Faizan ke Special Verbal Lecture aur EduSmart preparation se directly ya indirectly related thay.

Around 5–6 questions comparatively difficult thay, especially Number Series ke.

Number Series ka mere test mein sirf ek question lecture ke bilkul similar tha, lekin strategy aur basic concepts lectures ki wajah se clear thay.

General strategy-based questions easy thay.

Panic bilkul nahi karna. Time ke saath move karna hai aur maximum questions attempt karne hain.

Non-Verbal Intelligence Test

Uske baad Non-Verbal Intelligence Test aya.

64 MCQs — 30 Minutes

Mere experience mein Non-Verbal portion Verbal ke comparison mein comparatively difficult tha.

Around 70% questions EduSmart lectures aur practice material se directly ya indirectly manageable thay.

Remaining questions mein se kuch logical thinking se solve ho gaye, jabke kuch patterns kaafi tricky thay.

Kayi students Non-Verbal mein fail hue aur kuch candidates ka major issue time management tha.

Is section ke liye repeated practice bohat important hai. Sir Faizan ke Non-Verbal lectures mein bataye gaye pattern-solving techniques actual test mein helpful rahin.

Academic Test

Uske baad Academic Test aya, jo mere liye test ka sab se important aur challenging part tha.

Main pehle different candidates ke experiences read karti thi aur unmein mentioned academic MCQs mujhe mostly aate thay. Lekin mere actual test mein bohat se questions different thay.

Maximum students Academic portion mein fail hue.

Mere test mein:

English and Chemistry ka portion zyada tha.
Biology ke bhi kaafi questions thay.
Physics comparatively kam thi.

Academic test ka major challenge sirf concept nahi tha, balki options bohat close thay.

Verbal aur Non-Verbal mein time pressure hota hai, lekin Academic aur Personality mein comparatively time manageable tha.

Mere test mein pehle Urdu statements aur phir English statements aaye.

Time management ka major issue nahi tha.

Interesting baat yeh thi ke kuch statements multiple times repeat hue. Mere test mein ek statement around 15 times different places par repeat hua.

Sab se important point:

Answers mein contradiction nahi honi chahiye.

Questions mainly in topics se related thay:

Agar ek statement pe pehle Agree select kiya hai aur wahi statement dobara aaye, to answer consistent rakhna chahiye. Sirf impression banane ke liye answers randomly change nahi karne chahiye.

Personality test Army officer ke required personality traits ko indirect aur sometimes tricky way mein assess karta hai.

Kuch statements is tarah ke thay:

• Aap ne kabhi koi bura kaam nahi kiya.
• Apni life ke itne saalon ko ek line mein kaise describe karenge?
• Kya aapko aksar headache ki wajah se tablet leni parti hai?

Personality test ke liye natural aur consistent rehna best strategy hai.

Medical

Test complete hone ke baad medical hua.

Medical ke bare mein maine pehle bohat rumors sunay thay, lekin mera experience simple tha.

Sab se pehle eyesight check hui. Glasses acceptable thay.

Meri eyesight slightly weak thi, lekin assessment ke baad record complete kiya gaya.

Uske baad:

• Height measure hui
• Weight check hua
• Carrying angle/arms check hue

Mere case mein knee knocking check nahi hui.

Uske baad humein two forms diye gaye, jin mein Form D bhi included tha.

Final Result and Overall Experience

Approximately 200 candidates mein se sirf 7 students ne test clear kiya in our batch/session.

Rough work aur pen allow nahi tha.

Environment disciplined hone ke bawajood friendly tha. Staff cooperative tha aur mujhe unnecessary pressure feel nahi hua.
