Calculate BMI (Body Mass Index) and Fitness in Armed Forces (Army/Navy/PAF) and Law Enforcement (ASF/PERA/Punjab Police/Rangers/FC)

BMI (Body Mass Index) measures your weight in relation to your height. It is important for recruitment and fitness in the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. A healthy BMI is essential if you want to join or remain in forces like Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force, Rangers, Punjab Police, FC, or PERA.

What is BMI?

BMI Formula: BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (m)²

BMI Categories:

Underweight: BMI < 18.5

Normal Weight: BMI 18.5 – 24.9

Overweight: BMI 25 – 29.9

Obese: BMI ≥ 30

Why BMI Matters for Military and Law Enforcement?

Physical Fitness: The military needs people who can handle physical tasks — running, carrying, and other essential tasks. BMI helps check if you are fit for these activities.

Recruitment: If your BMI is too high or too low, you may not be able to join or continue strength training. This is a first-line check for health.

Annual Fitness: Once you’re in, the forces regularly check your BMI to ensure you stay fit.
